Yara Shea Beauty was founded in 2020 with the vision to create more than skincare — to build a brand that fuels empowerment and preserves cultural heritage. The name Yara means “strength, courage, butterfly, goddess”, a reflection of what we stand for.
Rooted in West Africa and inspired by ancestral traditions, we began in Ghana by partnering with women artisans to craft skincare and lifestyle products using ethically sourced, natural ingredients. Every product supports local economies and celebrates timeless craftsmanship.
Today, with the support of our consumers across North America, we’ve expanded our impact globally. At Yara Shea Beauty, we nourish more than skin—we uplift lives.
